Clinics for TVPBC Members

The TVPBC will be conducting a series of instructional clinics for ALL of our club members on every Thursday during the month of March, taking the place of the Skills & Drills sessions normally taking place at 2:00pm on those days.  These will be hands-on sessions covering a variety of different playing strategies with good learning opportunities for players at all levels. Here’s the schedule of what will be covered:

March 7th – The two most important shots in Pickleball – how to execute…and defend.
March 14th – Using the lob effectively/defending against a good lob. Who is the “captain” of your team?
March 21st – Defending your partner thru “signals”. An introduction to stacking – made easy!
March 28th – Are you “warming up” properly? Defending against the “hard-hitters”.

(Coaches: Bill Mason, Tom Dietrich, David Brigham, Russ Ferrell, Joel Elder, Dale Snyder, Pat Snyder, Dawn Bray, Linda Sable, Jeannie Neary, Ann Lewellen, Marcia Stewart, Chip Young, John Reed)

The sessions are FREE, open to ALL active club members, and NO SIGNUP is required.  Just show up ready to learn.

Not a TVPBC member? You can join by stopping in at the Chota Rec Center and filling out a NEW member envelope and pay the annual dues.

Meet & Greet

For ALL new “C” players and new, yet-to-be-evaluated club members waiting to go through training, please set aside this time on Wednesdays, from 4:00pm – 6:00pm as your own special “Meet & Greet” Pickleball time on courts 5-8.  Kathy McKay and Marianthe Isakson are two of our great members who enjoy working with you to improve your game and build on those skills that you’ve already acquired.  It’s a fun session and a great way to meet other new players!
