Tellico Village Pickleball Tournaments

Overview

The Tellico Village Pickleball Club hosts an annual tournament in the spring.  The proceeds of the tournament are shared with a selected Charity.  Previous charities that have benefited are the Special Olympics of Loudon County, Smoky Mountain Service Dogs, Our Place and others.

Spring 2026 Tournament

The Spring 2026 tournament was held on April 18th and 19th, at the Wellness Center Courts of Tellico Village.  Proceeds benefited the Special Olympics of Tennessee.

Karen Frederick, co-Tournament Director, presents a check for $14,000 to Special Olympics of Tennessee before some very special Olympians. This donation was from the proceeds of the tournament and after party in thanks to those who participated, our sponsors and especially all the volunteers who made these events possible.

You will need to make sure that you have a shortcut on your smartphone to the Pickleball Den software.  Here are instructions for setting up Pickleball Den and using it during the tournament.

Past Tournament Successes

Every year, Tellico Village Pickleball Club chooses a charity to benefit from our annual Tournament and Gala.  We and our sponsors have been able to raise nearly $65,000 over the past 4 years and have benefited charities such as Our Place, Special Olympics of Loudon County, and Smoky Mountain Service Dogs.

We have drawn participants from all over the Knoxville Region and from other states.  This very fun event is followed by a Gala for our members where we continue to raise funds for our selected charity.
