Our Vice-President assumes the duties of the president in his or her absence, chairs the Competition Committee in the oversight, organization, and directions of tournaments, leagues, orientation classes for new and novice players and other competitive pickleball activities. The VP also assists the club in all other functions as necessary.

Don MacLeod, Treasurer

Our Treasurer records income and expenses related to banking and provides monthly financial reports, as well as the end of year report. The treasurer also orders pickleballs, maintains the membership list (adding new members, recording dues payments and promotions of players, and deleting unpaid players from the roster).

Steve McCormick, Evaluations Director

Our Evaluations Director oversees the evaluations sessions that are held monthly for advancement. Also, a “Level Placement” evaluation option for experienced players who are new to the club and need to be rated for our club and placed into a level.

Matt Frederick, Training Director

Our Training Director is responsible for establishing and conducting viable training programs, which include the following:
- organizing coordinators to assist with training programs
- assisting coordinators in organizing instructors to assist with training programs
- establishing Skills & Drills sessions.

Anne Pickens, Secretary & Director of Communications

The Secretary records and maintains minutes of the TVPBC’s official Board meetings and special or emergency meetings. In the event of his/her absence, any member that is designated by the President or Vice-President shall perform this function.
The Director of Communications assists the Club in creating promotional material (flyers, banners, TVN Ads, etc.) for upcoming Club events.

Stacey O'Brien, Social Director

Our Social Director in collaboration with the social committee plans and executes all club social events. The Social Director sets the calendar for committee meetings as needed throughout the year. Ensures all pickleball social event information is provided to members via email and signage at pickleball courts. Organizes committee members to volunteer to ensure successful social events which includes set-up, clean-up, and purchasing of event supplies and prizes for raffles. Arranges for food and beverage services for various events. Typically, the committee provides 4 to 5 events per year to include an event to recognize the club’s many wonderful volunteers. The committee works in conjunction to support additional events throughout the year such as the Spring tournament and party.

Mark Johnson, Associate Director of IT

The Associate Director of Information Technology is a nonvoting position on the board. The associate director oversees Pickleball Den’s Club software implementation and use, executes the addition, deletion, and changes in the software for TVPBC members,maintains contact with Pickleball Den’s corporate office, answers questions from potential club members and active club members regarding the Club’s software, updates level ratings in software, and assists in maintaining the club membership roster.

Larry Moore, Associate Director, Kahite Representative

The Associate Director, Kahite Representative is a nonvoting position on the board. The Associate Director resides in the Kahite neighborhood and represents the interests of the Pickleball Club members who reside in Kahite. The Associate Director is a member of the Scheduling Committee, attends board meetings and workshops, provides a written report for board meetings, solicits feedback and ideas from members in Kahite and assists in or facilitates Kahite pickleball court maintenance and upgrades.
